Clondalkin Garda Station in Dublin has reopened after it was forced to close on Sunday night following a bomb threat.
A member of the public entered the station with a suspect device that had been found nearby.
The station was evacuated and the Irish Defence Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit was called in.
The device was made safe and has been sent for a technical examination. Clondalkin Garda Station has since reopened.
