The late Esther Connaughton (née Hilliard)
Esther Connaughton (née Hilliard), Marian Avenue, Portlaoise passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of nurses and staff of Droimnín Nursing Home, Stradbally on Sunday 22 June 2025.
Esther was predeceased by her husband John, her parents Tom and Annie, brother Jimmy and sisters Catherine and Marie.
Beloved mother of Wayne, Zara, and Annamarie.
Deeply missed by her loving family, son-in-law Alex, daughter-in-law Silvia, grandchildren Emily and AJ, brothers Tom, Noel and Martin, sister in law Catherine, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise (Eircode R32W103) on Tuesday 24 June from 5pm to 6.30pm with Rosary Recital at 6pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 25 June at 11am in Saint Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise followed by interment in Saint Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
