The late Helen Melia
Helen Melia (née Maher), Treascon, Portarlington and formerly of Summerhill, Portlaoise passed away on Tuesday 13 May surrounded by her loving family at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
Helen was predeceased by her infant son Kevin, parents Tom and Julia, brother Paddy, sisters Judy and Ann.
Deeply regretted by her loving sons Derek and Alan and their father Louie, adoring grandchildren Rebecca, Karen, Carolan and Cara, daughters-in-law Kimberly and Abby, brothers Tom and Jim, sisters Winnie and Jean, her holiday buddy Rosie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and her many close friends.
Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Thursday evening 15 May from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Friday morning 16 May at 9.20am arriving at Saint Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to The Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium for Committal Service at 1.30pm.
