The late John McDermott
John McDermott, Trumera, Mountrath passed away on Thursday 9 January in the care of staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
John was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Anne, brothers Jim, Philip and Kevin, his infant sisters and sister-in-law Fionnuala.
Sadly missed by his beloved wife Christine, daughters Josephine, Pauline and Deirdre, sons Seán and Cathal, sisters Anne and Teresa, brothers Willie, Charlie and Michael, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath this Saturday evening 11 January from 6pm concluding with Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Sunday morning 12 January to Saint Fintan’s Church, Mountrath for Requiem Mass at 11.30am.
Cremation will follow at a later date.
John’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on www.mountrathparish.ie
