The late Margaret O'Connell
Margaret O’Connell (née Crossan), Capoley, Portlaoise and of Cloneygowan, Offaly passed away peacefully on Thursday 2 October 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Margaret will be sadly missed by her husband Michael, daughter Grainne, son Niall and all her brothers and sisters, especially by her loving grandchildren Emily, Alex and Ava Rose and her sons-in-law Darren and Carlos. Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and wide circle of friends and all her work colleagues and friends at the pharmacy.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral home, Portlaoise on Sunday evening 5 October from 5 pm until 6.30pm with Rosary at 6 pm.
Removal on Monday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 11am Requiem Mass. Cremation will follow in Newlands Crematorium.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Friends of Portlaoise Hospital.
