The late Matthew (Matt) Mahon
It is with heavy hearts that the Mahon family announce the sudden passing of their dear Matt on Thursday 25 September 2025.
Husband to his adoring wife and soulmate, Caroline. Doting father and best friend to his beautiful children, Clíona, Aoife and Jack.
Matthew was predeceased by his father Tom, sister Catherine and brother Pauric.
Brother to Anne, Tomás, Siobhán, Marguerite, and Noel. Son to Joan, Son in law to Charlie and Mary. Brother-in-law to Sinéad, Alan, Charlie, Orla and Kevin. Beloved by his nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Admired by all who knew him, and loved him, in his sporting community. A friend to all he met, an inspiration to all who he loved.
