The late Patrick (Paddy) Delaney
Patrick (Paddy) Delaney, Coolagh, Clonaslee died peacefully on Thursday 2 October 2025 in his 88th year, in the excellent care of the ICU/Surgical teams of Tullamore Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Patrick was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary, his sisters Kathleen, Maureen, Claire and Breeda, and his daughter-in-law Geraldine.
Dearly loved husband of 63 years to Catherine (nee Gath), loving father of Mary (Brendan), Therese (Vincent), Patrick (Bláthnaid), Cathy (Oliver), Robert, Geraldine (Fergus), Bernie, Richard (Maggie), Joanna (Derek), John (Kelly) and Noel (Megan).
Popeye will be deeply missed by his loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Deeply regretted by his brother Jim, his sisters Teresa, Nancy, Finola, Josie and Del, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at his residence on Friday 3 October from 2pm to 7pm, with Rosary at 7pm.

Family time only after 4pm. House strictly private please.
Funeral will arrive to Saint Manman’s Church, Clonaslee on Saturday evening for 6pm Mass.
Funeral Mass on Sunday 5 October at 12 noon in Saint Manman’s Church, Clonaslee with burial afterwards in Saint Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee. Paddy's Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.churchmedia.tv by selecting County Laois.
