Dublin City Council has launched ‘Dublin Nights Mapped’, a new interactive guide to the city after 6pm.
Featuring almost 100 locations, ‘Dublin Nights Mapped’ brings together the best of Dublin’s evening and night-time offer on a single, easy-to-use Google Map.
The initiative highlights a broad range of options that go beyond traditional night-time activity, supporting a more diverse, inclusive and vibrant city after dark.
‘Dublin Nights Mapped’ is a curated list compiled by Dublin City Council’s Night-Time Economy Advisor and hosted on Google Maps. More details, including a link to the map, can be found at www.dublinnights.ie.
Speaking about the initiative, the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Ray McAdam said: “Dublin Nights Mapped is a great example of how we can showcase the city’s rich cultural and social life after 6pm.
It highlights the diversity of experiences on offer and encourages people to see and use the city in new ways in the evening and at night.”
"The map will operate as a living, breathing resource, regularly updated on the Google Maps platform as new venues, activities, and experiences emerge.
Dublin Nights Mapped aligns with Dublin City’s Night-Time Strategy, which aims to foster collaboration between cultural organisations, venues, and creatives, create new synergies, and enhance Dublin’s overall evening and night-time experience for residents and visitors alike.
“We hope to continue building on this map over time, and we’d encourage venues, organisations and businesses that aren’t yet included to get involved,” the Night-Time Economy Advisor said.
To mark the launch of ‘Dublin Nights Mapped’, Free Now is offering a 25 per cent discount on journeys taken between 6pm and 12am, using the promo code DUBMAPPED, helping people travel around the city more easily while exploring Dublin after dark.
