Five-goal Kate leads Stradbally to the title

KATE Murphy showed her class as she racked up five goals in her side’s Rionn 2 championship final against The Heath. Emma got the scoring underway pointing from play while Kate Murphy fired in her first goal moments later.
Heidi Lynch put a free between the posts before Murphy soon took her goal tally to three with one goal after another. Lily Munnelly popped over two fine points, but Murphy struck again for Stradbally and raised a fourth green flag with Davis pointing her second score just before the break.
Julia Falkowska found the net for the first score of the second half. Munnelly replied with a free while Davis raised her third white flag with Lexi Laffan raising her first. Munnelly pointed another two frees for The Heath while Laffan added a second point to her name.
Munnelly scored two brilliant goals for her side taking her tally to a remarkable 2-5. Stradbally finished strong as Davis pointed her side’s seventh score and Murphy scored her fifth goal to see her side crowned champions.
