The late Martin Brophy
Martin Brophy, Fairymount, Crettyard and formerly of Ballyquirke, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, after a short illness, on Monday 6 January under the wonderful care of the Nurses and Staff at University Hospital, Waterford.
Martin was the beloved husband of the late Margaret, much loved father of Teresa, Carmel, Patrick and Martina, adored grandfather of Saoirse, Aoibhinn, Caoimhe, Síofra and Ellen and cherished brother of John, Mary and the late Timothy.
He will be sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Paul and Colin, Martina’s partner Ross, daughter-in-law Daiva, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Carpenter’s Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) from 3pm on Sunday 12 January concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening.
Funeral Mass on Monday 13 January in Saint Abban’s Church, Doonane, Crettyard (Eircode R93 AT86) at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
