How to get to the 3 Arena for Lewis Capaldi without the luas

As Lewis Capaldi performs in the 3 Arena on Tuesday night, some fans will have to make alternative transport arranges to the concert.

A bus service will run between Connolly and The Point while repairs are ongoing to the Georges Dock bridge.

The completion of works will be at the end of November this year, and Luas Red Line services will remain suspended between Connolly and The Point until that time.

It is a 25 minute walk from Connolly station to the 3 Arena.

Dublin Bus offers a high frequency and accessible service from all over Dublin to within a 20 minute walk of 3Arena.

The 151 route operates every 10 minutes during rush hour and will leave you on Castleforbes Road, the closest stop to the Venue, just a two minute walk away.

The bus services runs between 05:30 – 00:30 on Monday to Friday, between 06:30 – 00:30 on a Saturday, and 07:00 – 23:30 on 07:00 – 23:30 on Sundays.

The bus will depart from the following stops:

George’s Dock Luas Stop – beside Hilton Garden Inn.

Mayor Square – NCI Luas Stop – beside The Convention Centre.

Spencer Dock Luas Stop – beside The Mayson Hotel.

The Point Luas Stop – beside The Point / 3Arena.

Doors open at 6.30pm with support acts expected to start around 7pm.

Capaldi will take to the stage at about 8.45 pm. His set is expected to last one hour and 25 minutes, so the concert should end at 10.15pm.

Dublin-based musician Aaron Rowe and singer-songwriter Skye Newman will be the support acts.
