Laois Death Notice: Agnes Gillooly (née Fitzpatrick), Ballyroan

Agnes Gillooly (née Fitzpatrick), Culleen, Kilteevan, Co Roscommon and formerly of Ballyroan, Portlaoise, Co Laois. October 29th, 2026, peacefully, while in the devoted care of the staff at Portiuncula University Hospital.

Predeceased by her beloved son Paul.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Peter, daughters Bernadette, Caroline and Deirdre, brother Donal, sisters Mary Lynn and Patricia Carter, sons-in-law Thomas O’Dea and Joe Dolan, grandchildren Anthony, Jack and Brianna, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Mary rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon F42 NH27 on Monday evening from 5 o’c until 6 o’c followed by removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon F42 XT96. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday at 11 o’c followed by private cremation.
