Laois death notice: Ann (Alo) Heffernan (née Phelan), Mountrath

Ann (Alo) Heffernan (née Phelan), Newline Road, Mountrath, Laois died peacefully on 1 August in her 95th year, in the wonderful care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Dan, her parents John and Ann, her brother John and her sisters May and Lizzie.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Tom; daughters Geraldine and Ann; grandchildren Keith, Alan, Ian, Liam Óg, Claire, Damien, Joanne, Jillian and Colm; her 15 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Ann; sons-in-law Liam and Joe; sisters Sheila and Bernie; brothers Eddie, Willie and Mick and their partners; her special friend Bridgie; nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May Alo Rest In Peace 

Reposing at her home (R32 KV12) on Monday evening from 5pm, concluding with Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Tuesday morning to St Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by burial in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.
