Ann Phelan, RIP
The death occurred on 25 August of Ann Phelan (née Moore), Rathmore Road, Stradbally, Laois and formerly of Kyle, Portlaoise.
A beloved mother, Ann died peacefully following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family and in the professional care of the staff at Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
Predeceased and now reunited with her beloved husband Denis, siblings and her parents John and Alice.
Ann, a loving mother, grandmother and sister, will be sadly missed and forever loved by her devoted family: Sylvester (Catherine), Josephine (Peter), John (Louise), Ailish (Jim), Donnacha, Sinéad (Mick) and James (Katie) and her grandchildren Vivienne, Annabel, Alice, Rachel and Daniel. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Brigid (Burke), her many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Ann will repose at her daughter Sinéad’s residence (R32 VNW0) Ard na Gréine, Cork Road, Stradbally this Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm, with the recital of the rosary at 7pm.
Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Thursday at 1.30pm to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally (R32 WRH9) for 2pm Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.
