Laois death notice: Caroline (Peg) McKay (née Reid), Mountrath

Caroline (Peg) McKay (née Reid), Shannon Road, Mountrath, Laois passed away peacefully in her 93rd year on Sunday, 2 August, at the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Charlie, her parents and her sister Kitty.

Sadly missed by sons William, Tommy, Victor and Trevor, daughter Harriet, special relation Joan Reid, her grandchildren Zoe, Gena, Linda, Philip, Gary, Evan, Leona, Dale and Jordan, her great-grandchildren, her sisters Hetty (Holmes) and Lucy (Rothwell), her daughters-in-law Jennifer, Margaret and Mary Jo, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath (R32 Y661) on Monday evening from 5pm until 8pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm.

Removal on Tuesday afternoon to St Peter’s Church, Mountrath (R32 EN81) for Funeral Service at 3pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.
