Laois death notice: Catherine Delaney (née Nugent), Shanahoe, Abbeyleix

Catherine Delaney (née Nugent), Shanahoe, Abbeyleix, Laois and late of Mountarmstrong, Donadea, Naas, Co Kildare passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, 31 August, surrounded by her loving family, after an illness bravely borne. Predeceased by her dad Michael.

Deeply missed by loving husband Micheál, son John and his wife Orla, daughter Sarah and her fiancé Gearóid, grandson Alexander, mother Catherine, sisters and brothers, Mary, Peig, Pat, Michael, Brig, Martin and James, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Catherine Rest in Peace.

Reposing at St Brigid’s Church, Shanahoe (R32AH90) this Wednesday evening from 5pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon, followed by burial in the local cemetery.
