RIP.ie death notice: Daniel (Dan) Murphy, Old Grange, Monasterevin, Kildare and formerly of Ballymorris, Portarlington, Laois.
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Daniel (Dan) Murphy on 23 August, surrounded by his loving family, at Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
Beloved husband of Sarah (Sadie, née Harrison) and much loved father of Marie, John, Deirdre, Geraldine, Bridget and Regina.
Daniel will be very sadly missed by his sons-in-law John, Paul, Jimmy, Seamus and Pauric, his cherished grandchildren Áine, Sarah, Caithlin, Daniel, Shaun and Sophie and his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Predeceased by his loving parents, brothers and sisters.
May Daniel rest in peace.
Reposing at his home in Old Grange (W34 V3O4) this Tuesday evening from 4pm, with Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Wednesday morning at 9.10am, arriving at St Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin, for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Evin's Cemetery.

Daniel was a dearly loved husband, father and grandfather who will be remembered with great affection by all who knew him. His passing leaves a great sadness for his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
