Goretti Heffernan, RIP
With sadness we announce the passing of Goretti Heffernan (née Hanson) Clonkeen, Portlaoise, Laois and formerly of Delvin Park, Ferbane, Offaly on 11 September in the Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Ambrose and Dell Hanson.
Deeply regretted by her adoring husband of 52 years, John, her cherished children, Paul, David and Lisa, her treasured granddaughters Avril and Lila, son-in-law Dave, daughter-in-law Elena, sister Jacinta (Byrne) and brother Aidan (Hanson), sisters-in-law Helen, Mary, Madge and Anne, brothers-in-law Maurice and Oliver, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends from near and far, including customers of Trax Records for 25 years.
May she rest in peace.

With special thanks to the staff of Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise for providing such dedicated care to Goretti, in particular to Ann Marie and Jackie and those who provided loving care to Goretti at her home, in particular to Liz, Farrah, Tatiana and Sonya.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise this Sunday evening from 5pm until 7pm, with rosary at 6.30pm.
Removal on Monday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, to arrive for 11am requiem mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
