Laois death notice: John Muldowney, Portlaoise

John Muldowney, Kinnegad, Westmeath and formerly of Portlaoise, Laois, retired member of An Garda Síochána, died peacefully on 24 September in the wonderful care of the staff at Rose Lodge Nursing Home, Killucan, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his cherished grandson Daire, his parents, brother and sisters.

Beloved husband of Rose and much-loved father of Paul, Imelda and her husband Chris, Adrian and his wife Niamh, Kevin, Elaine and her husband Dave, Karina and her husband Jason.

John will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Rose, his sons, daughters, daughters in law, sons in law, his 14 cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives, friends and all who knew him.

May John Rest in Peace.

Reposing at St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan (N91 VF51) on Sunday 27 September from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 6pm.

Removal on Monday morning to arrive at the Church of the Assumption, Kinnegad (N91 W2F8) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in St Finian’s Cemetery, Clonard.
