It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Margaret, who died peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington on 19 August.
Predeceased by her parents John and Maureen, her brothers Patrick, Eugene and Gerry and her sister Jo (recently deceased).
Much loved sister of Lucy, Róisín, Peter, Michael and John, adored aunt of her nieces, nephews, grandnephews, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law.
Margaret will be sadly missed by her family, her very good neighbours until recently Brian and Edele Jackson, her best friend Maura Williams and her former nursing colleagues in St John's Hospital, Sligo.
May Margaret Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Friday evening from 6pm, with Rosary at 8pm.
Removal on Saturday morning at 10.20am, arriving St Michael's Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.
Margaret's Requiem Mass will be streamed live on the church webcam.
