Laois death notice: Margaret (Peggy) Fitzpatrick (née Haughney), Graiguecullen

Margaret (Peggy) Fitzpatrick (née Haughney), Sleatty Street, Graiguecullen, Laois/Carlow died on 23 September in her 91st year, in the gentle care of the Sacred Heart Hospital.

Beloved eldest daughter of the late Martin and Ellen (Nell) Haughney and wife of the late Joe.

Much loved mother of Margaret, Padraig, Anne and Janet. Sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, sisters Anne, Eileen and Kathleen, sons-in-law Eddie, Peter and Eddie, daughter-in-law Mary, grandsons Ciarán, Robert, Conor, Brian, Tomás, Eoin, David, Liam, Niall and Gavin, great-grandchildren Ryan, Joseph, Tomás, Archie, Reyna, Cullen and Éabha, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Peggy Rest in Peace.

Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Thursday from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Removal from her home on Friday to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, to arrive for funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Killeshin Cemetery.
