Laois death notice: Mary Brigid (Biddy) Murphy, Rathdowney

Mary Brigid (Biddy) Murphy, Cuan Bhríde and formerly of Shragh, Rathdowney, Laois/Kilkenny died peacefully on 21 September at Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Moira Murphy.

Mary will be sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Eugene and Tony, sister Geraldine, sisters in-law Mary and Joan, brother in-law Tommy, nieces, nephews, kind neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget this Wednesday from 5pm, with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral cortege arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Galmoy on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Requiem Mass can be viewed on the church webcam.

Mary will be laid to rest thereafter in the adjoining cemetery.
