Laois death notice: Mary Delaney (née Cahill), Portlaoise

Mary Delaney (née Cahill), Ballydavis, Portlaoise, Laois and formerly Clogh, Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, passed away peacefully on Thursday 8 October, while surrounded by her loving family, in the care of the medical staff of Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. 

Predeceased by her parents Jack and Peg.

Mary is deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving husband Pat, son Colin, daughter Aoidean, granddaughter Caoimhe, Colin’s partner Sinéad, Aoidean’s partner Ruaidhrí, her brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

May Mary rest in peace.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Portlaoise (R32 W10E) this Saturday from 4pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7pm.

Funeral cortége arriving at St Patrick's Church, Clogh (R95 DXE4) for Requiem Mass on Sunday at 2pm.

Mary will be laid to rest thereafter in the adjoining cemetery.
