Laois death notice: Paddy (Pat) Phelan, Borris-in-Ossory 

Paddy (Pat) Phelan, Sybil Hill Road, Raheny, Dublin and formerly Shanboe, Borris-in-Ossory, Laois passed away peacefully on 26 August, surrounded by his loving family, in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St Patrick's Ward, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Late Sacristan of Whitefriar Street Church, Dublin and more recently St Brigid's Church, Killester, Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, brothers Mick and Jim, sisters Anne, Angela and Margaret.

Paddy will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his brother Joe, sisters Mary Whiston, Bernie Flanagan, Josie Vickers and Pauline Bergin (Camross Inn), his sisters-in-law Joan, Marie and Eileen, brothers-in-law Ailbe, Joe, Pat and Gerry, his dedicated nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Paddy's gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Paddy will repose at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown (R32TN84) this Sunday evening from 4pm to 6pm, concluding with prayers at 6pm.

Funeral Mass in St Canice's Church, Borris-in-Ossory, (R32P2YK) on Monday morning at 11am, followed by burial in Skeirke Cemetery.
