Laois death notice: Patrick (Paddy) Smyth, Portarlington

Patrick (Paddy) Smyth, Droughill, Portarlington, Laois, formerly of Palmerstown, Dublin and late Eircom died peacefully in his 98th year, while in the loving care of his family, at Elm Hall Nursing Home, Cellbridge on 15 February.

Loving husband of the late Maura and dear dad of the late Michael. Beloved father of Elizabeth, Caroline, Susan, Colin, June, Trevor, Graham and Fiona. Paddy will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, sisters-in-law, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Removal on Wednesday morning, arriving at St Michael's Church, Portarlington (R32 HY38) for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.

Paddy's Requiem Mass will be streamed live on the church link on RIP.ie.
