Laois death notice: Patrick (Pat) Fitzpatrick, Rathdowney

Patrick (Pat) Fitzpatrick, Cuan Bhride, Rathdowney, Laois and formerly Coolfin, Rathdowney, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on 31 August at his residence, in his 89th year.

Predeceased by his wife Josephine, brothers Tommy, Timmy and Seán (who died in infancy) and sister Babs.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters Jean and Glenda, son-in-law Graham, granddaughters Stephanie, Philippa and Natalie, grandsons Cameron and Alastair, great-grandson Ronan, brother Jimmy, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY25) on Thursday evening from 5pm, pausing for prayers at 7pm.

Removal on Friday morning to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery.
