Paul Macken, RIP
Paul Macken, Portarlington and formerly 49 Edenmore Avenue, Raheny, Dublin 5, passed away peacefully on 21 July at Orwell Healthcare, Rathgar.
Beloved father of Augustine and beloved stepfather of Anastasia, Séamus and Martin. Paul will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his loving children, Augustine’s mother Cynthia Schwerin, his brothers Dermot, Norman, Paddy, Martin, Gerard and Brian, sisters Teresa and Margaret and late sister Pauline, adored grandchildren Tadhg, Solana, Saoirse, Isabella, Neil Raphael and Kian, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his loving mother, Attracta.
Paul will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humour, his love of life and his quick wit that brought joy to all who knew him. He leaves behind many happy memories and stories that will be shared for years to come.
RIP Big Dawg — he’ll be missed more than words can say.

Reposing in Fanagan’s Funeral Home, 54 Aungier Street, Dublin 2 on Thursday 22 July from 5pm to 7pm.
Removal on Friday to Newman University Church, St Stephen's Green for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross at 1.30pm.
