Limited edition stamps have been released to mark 25 years of Westlife.

Westlife are one of Ireland's most successful and best-loved groups.

An Post decided to mark the major milestone in music history with a limited edition collection after asking the public for special edition ideas.

The stamps include individual photos and a group photo.

The stamps were created by Shaughn McGrath Creative, who worked closely with the band, and are said to be a tribute to Westlife's global success as artists and their role as ambassadors for Ireland and its music.

An Post described the stamps as not only beautiful collectables, but bringing "a touch of class and a wave of nostalgia" to every envelope posted to family and friends near and far.

"To have this recognition means the world to us. It is such an honour and privilege to be featured on Irish stamps, and it is a very special way to commemorate our 25 years of Westlife touring together," the band said.

"We are so grateful to the fans who’ve supported us right from the very beginning, and also a special mention and thank you to An Post too. See you on the envelopes.”

The collection features a booklet of four National Rate 'N' stamps, each dedicated to one of the band members: Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne, and Shane Filan, with their signatures.

There are only 80,000 booklets available.

There are also 12,000 €3 souvenir "band" stamp sheets, finished with premium gold foil for extra shine and a first day cover envelope featuring exclusive Westlife photography and a special commemorative Sligo date stamp.

"An Post is proud to celebrate Westlife’s incredible journey with this special collection,” Aileen Mooney, Irish stamps manager at An Post, said.

"These stamps are more than postage – they are a celebration of Irish culture, a keepsake for fans, and a lasting tribute to 25 years of Westlife.”

The band has 14 UK number ones, sold 55 million records worldwide, received multiple Brit and MTV awards and done countless arena tours.

The Westlife 25 Stamps are available now at anpost.com/westlife, with booklets also available in post offices nationwide.

Fans have been advised to move fast because once they're gone, they're gone.
