Dublin Bay North TD Barry Heneghan was detained by Israeli forces whilst attempting to provide aid as part of the Global Sumud Flotilla.

The Dublin Bay North TD said there were clear political reasons behind his decision to distance himself from Michael Lowry in the Dáil.

Heneghan is in the Regional Technical Group alongside Michael Lowry and Mattie McGrath, and appears on the show that is co-hosted by Fianna Fáil general election candidate Gráinne Seoige.
