The new figures from the CSO also showed that 772,800 foreign visitors completed a trip to Ireland last month

The largest contingent of visitors came from Great Britain (41 per cent), followed by visitors from the United States (18 per cent).

The visitors spent €196 million on their trips (excluding fares), down 31 per cent compared with February 2024.

Out of the 451,9000, 42.3 per cent of the visitors were from Great Britain, 11.1 per cent were from the United States, and 5.8 per cent were from Germany.
