At Ennis District Court on Friday, Johnny Donovan of Bay 3, Rathmichael, Shankill, Co Dublin appeared in connection with four charges arising from the shooting incident at Ballaghboy halting site, Quin Rd, Ennis on Thursday, May 29th last.

At the Children’s Court at Ennis District Court, State Solicitor for Clare, Aisling Casey outlined the State case against the Limerick teen who is now aged 17.

Imposing a €500 fine for the trespass offence on ‘Citizen Journalist’ Philip Dwyer at Ennis District Court on Wednesday, Judge Alec Gabbett said that words used by Mr Dwyer to others on the grounds at Magowna House were ‘unkind’ and "quite unseemly".
