Based on a Spanish film called The People Upstairs, which was adapted from a play, The Invite follows an unhappy married couple Joe (Rogen) and Angela (Wilde). 

The actress, 42, directed the thriller, which she appeared in alongside her then boyfriend Harry Styles and Florence Pugh in 2022.

Wilde, 42, dedicated her upcoming film, The Invite, to the late actress who died in October aged 79 from pneumonia.

The American actress and director, 42, dated the former One Direction star, 32, for nearly two years.

The 32-year-old Boys singer will also be seen in Daniel Goldhaber’s remake of the cult classic, Faces Of Death.
