The mother of the baby, who was 16-weeks-old when he died, has settled a High Court action against the HSE over his death.

The boy, who cannot be named, exhibits developmental delay, is non-verbal and has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

The young man, who cannot be identified by order of the court, suffered a type of brain injury caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain, it was claimed
