This seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Clondalkin District Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.

They are operating nationwide and are suspected as being involved in organised crimes including burglaries nationwide, drug trafficking, counterfeiting, theft and other property crimes.

Ultimately, each note was either directly or indirectly destined for the personal gain and enjoyment of those at the top levels of transnational Organised Crime Groups, gardaí said.

He has been accused of knowingly possessing eight videos on his iPhone and distributing them on a date in January when he was 14.

A man (20s) was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained at a Dublin garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Ryan Kelly (25) was under surveillance as part of an investigation by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
