The accused, aged 26, who cannot be identified due to the nature of the charge, faced his third hearing on Wednesday when he appeared via video link before Judge Alan Mitchell at Cloverhill District Court.

The man in his 40s was arrested on Sunday, October 26th.

The area saw disorder last week after an alleged sexual assault on a 10-year-old girl in the area.

The two men are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at garda stations in the Dublin region. 

Protests have been held at the Citywest Hotel for the past four nights, with the disorder breaking out on Tuesday and Wednesday.

A 26-year-old man appeared in court on Tuesday in relation to the alleged incident in Saggart.

The man cannot be named for legal reasons because of the nature of the charge.
