Megan Gaffey (28) of Marlborough Street, Dublin 1 pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery on May 22nd and June 13th, 2024 at a shop on the quays in Dublin City Centre.

The service's annual report for 2024 said this figure is the highest since 2015.

The accused, who said he was from Algeria, aged 37, and has given the name Yassing Boutank, with no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of stealing a phone from a French tourist in Dublin on May 7th.
