Now, Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) Adjudicator, Michael McEntee, has dismissed Shane Molloy’s claim of unfair dismissal against Coca-Cola HBC Ireland Ltd.

The company had not been informed that he was facing criminal charges, and was initially unaware of the reason that he was absent from work.

The WRC ruled that Breffni Air Ireland Unlimited had acted within the band of reasonable responses

Aldi had denied that it had unfairly dismissed Mr Kashif and claimed it had followed a full and fair disciplinary procedure before his summary dismissal.
