Eamon O’Neill (pictured) and four serving gardaí are on trial, charged with a total of 39 counts of engaging in conduct tending or intended to pervert the course of justice.

Charles Colthrust is seeking a judicial review of the two convictions he received for drink driving and dangerous driving handed down by Fermoy District Court on October 11th, 2024.

The arrest comes as part of an ongoing investigation targeting criminal activity in the Eastern Region and Dublin Metropolitan Region.
