The forecaster said areas of dense fog and freezing fog could affect visibility and create hazardous travelling conditions.

Dense fog will be present in 11 counties, causing poor visibility and difficult driving conditions, Met Éireann said.

Once the fog clears, it is set to be a nice day, with long spells of summer sunshine developing.

Met Éireann is warning hazardous driving conditions are likely.

The warning will last until 9am on Sunday morning.
