The directors state that “lower selling prices for fuel and petroleum products reflected the decline in commodity market prices and resulted in revenue that was lower than in the prior year."

Electric vehicle owners can expect to pay an average of €808.64 per year to cover an average of 17,000 km per year.

The changes will mean an additional €1.20 per full tank of 60 litres for motorists, according to Fuels for Ireland.
