A GARDA appeal has been launched for a 14-year-old girl who is reported missing from Portlaoise. Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Aliyah Smyth Donnelly, who was reported missing since Friday 22 August.

A LAOIS woman has been reunited with a precious diamond from her engagement ring, after it fell when her hand got caught in a vent on the train she was travelling on.
