The teen's death is the second fatal incident on the N17 this week

Una Bowden (47) and her two daughters, Ciara (14) and Saoirse (nine) were killed in a collision on the N17 near Claremorris on Tuesday afternoon

The incident occurred on the N17 at Castlegar near Claremorris at around 2pm.

A woman died in Co Louth and a man was killed in Co Mayo.

The woman was a passenger in the collision involving two cars and a van on the N17 in Miltown, Co Galway.
