The 17-year-old appeared at the Dublin Children’s Court for a section 75 Children Act preliminary ruling on his trial venue

One of the boys – released on Saturday night – failed to attend his next court hearing on Monday, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been in the Oberstown detention campus for children since February of this year. He was detained after he was found guilty of the oral and vaginal rape of a girl two years ago.
