A YOUNG Laois man will appear before the next sitting of Carlow Circuit Court later this month on charges in connection with a high-speed garda chase.

A motorist who hit a pedestrian as she was crossing the road pleaded guilty to careless driving at last week’s sitting of Carlow District Court.
