John Merrick (78) pleaded guilty to one count of indecent assault on the then 10-year-old at St Vincent’s Primary School in Glasnevin on a date between September 1st, 1979, and June 30th, 1980.

On Tuesday, Judge Martin Nolan imposed sentence in relation to the second trial, in which Clohessy was convicted of five counts of indecently assaulting four boys.
