James Keogh was attending a memorial motorbike run for his friend, who was killed in a motorcycle accident last month, shortly before the accident occurred.

The road remains closed at this time to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.

Locals said Jimmy "was a lovely quiet man who loved motorbikes".
