Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the single-vehicle road traffic collision at Myshall village shortly before 5.30pm.

David Chambers, Whitefield, Mountrath and formerly of Clonee, Fenagh, Co. Carlow passed away peacefully at his home in the loving care of his wife and son on Sunday 29 December. David was the much loved husband of Betty and father of Richard.

Scott John Matthew Bowes was also aged 16 at the time of the February 2019 accident which, he says, caused him injuries to his neck, shoulder and leg, as well as lasting psychological impact
