The survey found that nearly three-quarters of consumers have made unplanned purchases during sales, and almost 60 percent later regretted buying the item.

The new location is over eight times larger than all other existing plan and order points in Ireland, which typically range from 70-100m².

Eight out of 10 consumers plan to shop online in the run up to Christmas, with only three per cent saying they never shop online.

Located in the Bray Central shopping centre, the new store will span 19,600 sq. ft of retail space across one floor.
