Man (20s) seriously injured after being hit by car in Co Tipperary

A man has been left with serious injuries after he was hit by a car in Cashel, Co. Tipperary.
The incident occurred shortly after 11 pm on the Clonmel Road.
The man in his 20s was conveyed to Cork University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported at the time.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carried out a technical examination of the scene, and the road has since been fully reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are particularly interested in speaking with three drivers who passed by the pedestrian prior to the collision.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, who were travelling on the Clonmel Road (R692) in Cashel between 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm on Sunday are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
