Man (40s) dies and four injured in two-car collision in Limerick

A man in his 40s has died, and four others were injured in a two-car collision on the L1135 near Pullagh, Pallasgreen, Co Limerick, on Sunday.
The collision occurred shortly before 10pm on Sunday night, gardaí said.
The man was the driver and single occupant of a car and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His body has been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
A female driver aged in her 50s and a teenage girl were both conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.
A female passenger aged in her 20s and a teenage boy were conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The road is closed pending technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Local diversions are in place and gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed this collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the L1135 near Pullagh, Pallasgreen, Co Limerick between 9:30pm and 10pm on Sunday are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
An Garda Síochána said it is aware that images and video footage related to this incident are circulating on social media and messaging platforms.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who receives this content to refrain from sharing or reposting it further.
